This is a project of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to manage and monitor the Panchayat Yuva Krida Aur Khel Abhiyan (PYKKA). PYKKA is a Centrally Sponsored scheme of MYAS to achieve broad-basing and promotion of excellence in sports through a holistic and multi-pronged approach. PYKKA is a rural sports programme designed to encourage and promote sports and games among rural youth by providing them with access to basic sports infrastructure and equipment at the panchayat level, and opportunity to participate in sports competitions at the block and district levels.

This software envisages the development of a software solution to capture the entire workflow involved in executing and managing the entire PYKKA programme starting from Gram Panchayat onwards till MYAS. Once the software is developed, training is to be conducted to district and sub-district level field functionaries. A computer-based self-learning tutorial package is also proposed to be developed to enhance the capabilities of field functionaries in making effective use of the software.

A District level ration food supply management system, that is developed using Mobile & 2 way SMS gateways. The SMS are automatically broadcasted to the BPL card holders, and respected individuals of the respected areas and informed about the dispatch of the goods from the go-down.

The Impact

The Department of Food & Civil Supply, Government of Maharashtra has issued a Government Resolution (GR) and made it mandatory to use Vehicle Tracking solution to each Kerosene Tanker and to use SMS system for broadcasting the details.

Overview

Elections in India involve the largest event management exercise in the world. Millions of Govt. servants and other persons are directly or indirectly involved in the election process and this inevitably throws up a various major human resource management challenges to the election managers and administrators.

By leveraging our solution for automating the deployment of polling personnel, micro-observers, EVMs and counting staff, government bodies can smoothen and effectively manage the tedious administration in formation of polling parties for Parliamentary/Assembly Elections as per guidelines issued by the ECI for selection of the staff. The software follows three stages of randomization concept of ECI and works in accordance with all the guidelines issued by ECI.

What the Solution Handles

The election commission has implemented the randomization rules and regulations. The rules has made lots of difference to the procedures to be carried out for selection of electoral staff, polling party (team) formation, allotment of assembly to each polling personnel, allotment of polling booth to each team, and number of administrative activities such as printing and distribution of the elections training orders, logistics and transportation plans, cancellation of electoral staff and many more.

Magnum Opus’s software solution resolves almost all the problems/difficulties confronted during pre-poll process and on the poll day can be easily solved and traced back to lack.

These generated reports are used for number of different Government schemes. Also used to predict disastrous conditions & intimate us to make control provision. Due to the wrong reports, common peoples get misguided may lack in production.

To avoid this, Maharain the excellent concept developed by Magnum Opus team. In this system Tahasildar has to send the detailed SMS related the rain fall. By collecting these rain fall figures a district wise report is generated, that can viewed online from any where. In minimum time span correct reports are generated. These generated reports are then sent to the concern persons for further use.

Document Journey Management System for Government Offices

In every interaction of the citizen with the Maharashtra Government different departments, whether it was regarding a query, a complaint or a request, required quick response and action from the departments. The citizen had to visit the department office and follow-up to know the status and the progress of the query, complaint or request. On the other hand, the departments needed to manage their files and documents in a more efficient manner so that they could service the citizens in a timely and transparent manner.

A new avatar of the Document Journey Management System (DJMS) was designed, developed and implemented by the Magnum Opus.

Document Journey Management System is an application which is used to track the movement of file and references with the different government organization. It help the employees to maintain a consistent watch over movement of various important documents in the process of decision making. This monitoring helps in making important decision at different levels in an organization. This is made possible by a strong Management Information System (MIS) which not only generates various reports but also provides a daily performance report and an Arrears List. An extensive Administrative module is designed to maintain departmental as well as employee details.
